Momentum Traffic Control (MTC) was established in 2011 with its base of operations situated in Pakenham. We have established reciprocal agreements with a regional traffic company to assist with our growth into the Western District.
MTC’s aim is “To keep the momentum in traffic, so that Victoria can stay on the move.”
To ensure this, MTC focuses on safety, its staff, up-to-date equipment, and forming partnerships with our clients.

MTC is a Vic Roads pre-qualified company having attained TMP/TGS standards, whilst also meeting the required Quality Management, Occupational Health and Safety standards, Environmental Sustainability as certified by a 3rd party auditor.
MTC ‘s foremost priority is the safety of their staff, clients, workers, pedestrians and road users.
- To facilitate this at induction we ensure that each traffic controller is assisted in purchasing appropriate PPE from approved suppliers to relevant Australian Standards.
- To maintain consistency MTC provides all staff with approved long sleeve shirts, safety vests, safety helmets, gloves, glove clips, safety glasses tinted/clear and ear protection.
- These items are provided at induction with initial training and storage requirements. 50+ sun protection is provided in each company vehicle.
- Broad brimmed safety helmet covers with rear neck protection are made available to staff.
Further to the above to re-enforce OHS requirements, MTC holds meetings, training sessions sends emails and texts for urgent matters and posts relevant issues on staff notice boards.
